Our Lady's Catholic Primary School

On the 22nd February 2007 they underwent an Ofsted Section 48 R.E. Inspection. This is an extract from the report.

“Our Lady’s is a very good school, with several outstanding features. It is a very welcoming school with a strong Catholic ethos, based on Gospel values. The school has a distinct Catholic identity, which pervades all aspects of its daily life and underpins relationships, which are excellent. The school provides excellent care for its pupils within a safe environment where they feel safe and valued. The issues identified in the previous report have been addressed. The Catholic life of the school and the religious education of the pupils both feature prominently in the school improvement plan. The school places a strong emphasis on self evaluation and has an accurate view of its strengths and areas for development. There is a strong commitment to continuous improvement and the school is therefore well placed to make further progress.”

Inspectors: Mrs Bernadette Dowswell, Mrs Bernadette Long.
